bouncing away 1:03 PM

Ok back from camp yesterday. It was really fun and there's too much to blog about so I'll try to cut it short. So my Blood Group (OG) was Hawkins and Jamie's was Sanders. The camp is based on the Heroes series. Our groups are allies so we fight against other groups during some games. We even live on the same block same level and for some reason we keep meeting each other in the toilet. First day we played lots of games like captain's ball using a raw chicken. This was really gross lucky I played at the beginning. By the end there was only a quarter of a chicken left and i can't take the sight or smell of raw food so bleah. The last game was super fun. It's called Capture whereby you tuck a blue strip of cloth into your shorts and venture out in groups to steal other groups blue cloth for points. They have to go back to base once they lose their cloth. Lots of other side stuff like picking up straws/sticks for points and solving puzzles. I went out with Jamie, Bryan and Leonard and we kept running into specific freaks (who will snatch your blue cloth) like the panda, army man and dracula. Jamie kept being chased by the zombie. We won in the end and the prize is a 256 MB SD card each. Then block supper! Our group cooked baked chicken and made cocktail and Terence and I presented the dish for our group. Then we met our secret pal (SP) blindfolded while at the mercy of the seniors who did random things like feed us potato chips, smear places with peanut butter, colgate, mashed potatoes and squash our hands together onto a banana. It was so chaotic haha. Went for supper after that.

Second day was war games. Human fooseball was fun. It's like table soccer except we are the players. Somehow won with Sanders despite us (the defence) letting in quite a lot of goals. Then we played human snake where each group formed a line and the person in front or the person in the centre with a marker had to draw stars on a paper which is pasted onto the back of each line. They added in stuff like hopping on one leg or duck walking when they blew the whistle. There was one part where we were in the middle of three groups and we were totally coiled (illegal because it shields the last person and hence the paper). Jamie said her group coiled and the person with the marker was drawing happily on their own group's paper because he/she didn't realise. The last game was to stand within a rectangle made out of four poles and move around to attack other groups with water bombs to wet their newspaper which is worn by one person. Our group was quite bad at it because we got too excited. Since other groups were forming alliances we were in the midst of forming one with Jamie's group when a random facilitator threw a water bomb at their group. In the midst of the chaos they immediately assumed we backstabbed them and they started throwing water bombs at us. Tsk. We have better morals than that ok! Haha. Up till now they still think we backstabbed them. We got kicked out in the first round because our whole newspaper disappeared. So we helped Sanders by handing them water bombs and attacking other teams. My BG mate even took revenge on the person who threw the water bomb at Sanders hence causing them to misunderstand by attacking him from the back haha.

Next was pool games. For one game, each girl had to partner with a guy and hold a pail with our backs while the other teams tried to make us drop the bucket or get water bombs in. For our group the guys stood on the outside to protect the girls. But the other group was terrible! Some of the girls were standing on the outside. Tsk. Anyway their pails were like so open and we threw so many bombs in. The best game was when the guys had to piggyback a girl who attaches four balloons to her arms and the objective is to burst the other team's balloons. I was so aggressive haha I think the two guys who carried me suffered. My dad said I would scare guys away. So, who cares. It was so fun I burst so many of their balloons and I got to play for both rounds because the other girls were scared of balloons. Then the mass game where it was each team for their own except the other side of the pool formed an alliance and advanced on us. Each group has a king, three knights and a guardian and the objective is to topple the king.

Then we met our SP again where we had to play some games blindfolded. Learnt the mass dance after that. After supper out again, our OG stayed up till past 4.30am, playing drinking games. It was quite fun except I don't like alcohol. I drank anyway, stupidly not knowing that you're not supposed to drink on an empty stomach. Parts of the many games included everyone speaking in high pitched voices and things like saying quack every five syllables you speak, saying kimchi within every sentence and raising your hand and saying your name three times every time you speak. Oh speaking of kimchi, I made a Korean friend. His name is Kim Sin Tae so I call him Sin Tae oppa haha. My group calls him kimchi. He taught me some korean and cleared up some of my existing doubts.

Then the next day our male SPs fetched the girls for breakfast from our rooms. Haha. We were contemplating switching rooms the night before. After breakfast we watched a performance by Steppers (kr cheerleaders). They are so good! Then did the mass dance and sang the kr song before breaking camp.
