First day of camp (I wasn't around)

Back from camp. Yet again. Rovers camp was really DAMN FUN. Missed the first day cause of rag dance but managed to join them for night cycling, which turned out to be just cycling for supper. So when the rest of them went to sleep, Jamie and I and *cao ni ma de b* continued cycling. And I can't believe ECP doesn't have bathing facilities! Jamie and I had a traumatising bathing time.

Second day

Then second day we went kayaking at Pulau Ubin. Kayaked with Ian there but we were like always at the back. Then on the way back I switched partners and partnered with Jamie and we kayaked so jiliely that we were always in the front if not first. We wanted to show them that two girls would not lose to all the girl guy partners (which is everyone else). We shrieked like mad the whole trip because we didn't have enough strength to change direction (we also didn't know the proper way) and we kept drifting to the left. Other groups were staring at us because we were making so much noise. We even overtook the instructor at times (which we're not supposed to do but we couldn't help it). Then they made us stop and let all the slow people have soooo much of a headstart and we were like WTF we're fast because we used all our energy. Anyway we managed to catch up at the end and were racing against this couple whom I asked them to please let us win. Haha. They won anyway so we were second. Then we played beach games which included jumping over the "valley of death" which is just this pathetic tiny line of depression in the sand which they formed by pushing the sand aside. We laughed like mad after hearing the stupid name. We won every single game and won a clue for cluedo. After dinner we played the card game in which everyone gets a card with the numbers 1-? (depending on how many people are playing) except one person who gets the King card. That person gets to instruct two people holding the numbers he/she calls to do a forfeit together. Some forfeits were sooo gross like licking a line across someone's neck, smelling each others' feet and plucking another's nose hair. Anyway my fengshui was so good I only kena easy forfeits like lying there while someone acts like im dying from a car accident. The best forfeit ever is *cao cheebai's* and *eat shit'* war games forfeit in which they chased each other and rolled over on the floor. Omo it was hilarious.

Third day

The next morning we played this SUPER FUNNY game. Ok if you've been wondering why I call my group members by vulgarities this is why. We played the game whereby each person opens a card and if you open a card with the same number as someone else you have to try to shout the other person's codename before he shouts yours. Our theme was vulgarities so everyone's codename was a vulgarity. Haha apparently mine was the most vulgar. Ok there was ta ma deh, eat shit, go and die, fuck you, fucking asshole, diu lei, ka ni na bu, chao chee bai, cao ni ma de b and however you spell it: en cle vu (french for fuck). Other groups were looking on in horror as we shouted vulgarities. For the rest of the camp we called each other by our vulgarities and the funny thing is we will respond to our vulgarities. Then we went trekking after that and although we were in the last batch to set off we ended up first because we completed every task expertly. En Cle Vu was a good navigator as well. Throughout the trek the seniors entertained us with lame riddles and jokes. It's amazing how many they have stored up haha.

Then we practised our skit and had outdoor cooking before campfire. The campfire was really the highlight it was soooo fun. The skits were all funny. Ours had like a billion screw-ups but the RA scene between chao chee bai and fucking asshole was damn funny. Ok for why the campfire is so fun I must explain how fun my OG is. It's like, everyone is so siao and funny, even the freshies. Our cheers are far from the conventional ones. Our favourite cheer is the one whereby our OGL will blow a whistle while we all dance like mad. Everytime we cheer we're in our own world we completely forget where we are. During our group cheer the MC interrupted while we were dancing to say that we're in our own world. Then at the end where everyone joined hands in a huge circle around the fire to sing songs, our OG would break apart from the group to do stupid things like singing the song in different styles. We kept breaking apart until all the other OGs separated into their own groups. Then we started singing Umbrella until the MC had to come to break us up in which chao chee bai took an umbrella and held it over the MC's head while we all shouted "ELLA ELLA ELLA". I don't think the other groups enjoyed the campfire as much as us haha. Then later we tried to stay up all night and some of the other groups went to sleep or played the usual games. But our OG went to a clearing and played music and danced like siao with light sticks. We even had solo dances each. Then we played charades.

Fourth day (collages all stolen from jamie's blog)

The next morning other OGs played boring games again while we played charades with the mat dropping every ten seconds so it gets harder and harder to see the person acting out the word. Then prize presentation. We won best facilitators and best OG. The seniors from our group were saying that since we won best facils that they thought we wouldn't win best OG already so they were all like going off to do something else and got a shock when we won it. Contrast this with Jamie and I. Because we had sugar cane plastic packets in our hands when they were announcing best OG, we were like "oh no where do we hang it". Haha we were already so sure that we won. Jamie says other OGs were saying our OG name when they were announcing. Then we danced jiliely as usual in the centre of the circle. After playing the wooh game we played pepsi cola. Our group is really weird we don't play conventional games haha. Then went back to wash tents since we agreed the night before that we would do so if we won best OG. There wasn't much to do there so our OG went to play basketball and later volleyball (how do they have so much energy!) while I went home.

Slept for damn long and woke up for rag dance the next day. Then Bryan was having a supper celebration for his birthday so I had time from 2.30-9 to kill. Guess what. I shopped throughout and even didn't have enough time to shop. I even bought a pillow and bolster from vivo and I took the MRT with it to City Hall. I really looked damn ghey carrying it around. Bryan and his family got a shock when they saw me. Ate yummy cheesecake and then left when they went for supper and a sleepover.

I'm moving in on the 27th. That's in seven days time. Actually there's like no difference since I'm already in NUS everyday. Kind of sad actually. I have to miss Rambo's OG outing on Monday because of rag dance. Sigh. Really want to meet up with them because I don't think there'll be another chance.

Happy birthday Bryan and Luther!
