CONGRATULATIONS KR WARRIORS! (((:
Sooooo happy! we swept ten out of the twelve awards for halls at rag. gg man. haha. got up at 1.30 am for rag but suddenly received an sms telling us to continue sleeping till 3.30. then did warm ups and were told not to fall asleep. everyone fell asleep anyway. haha. did the horrendous face painting but actually the shoemakers got away easy cause we didn't have to body paint. diane (my neighbour) who was bathing in the next cubicle was having trouble scraping it off. ate lots of 'lipstick' though. the performance was over pretty fast. but we rocked man! apparently the judges were bobbing along to our dance and non kr related groups were all cheering for us, especially the finale and the cheerleading section. and master and the kr president popping out of the shoe surprised everyone. haha. in future i think all the halls will also ask their master to participate in some way or other in the presentation. we were all holding hands and damn nervous during the announcement of best presentation and lots of the dancers started crying when we won it. it was really.. yeah man. hahahha. since we won we get to go to chingay. of course, it was also thanks to the raggers who spent so much time building the super pretty intricate float.
then after intense cam-whoring in our disgusting make-up we went for dinner together and celebrated in the dance studio after that. i can't believe there's no dance prac tomorrow. feels so weird. i think i'll have severe withdrawal symptoms. and no more warm-ups and kriss' crunches. sigh. rag dancers rock!

Back from my first week of hall stay. Probably won't have the time or energy to blog much from now on. So much stuff happened this week, like rag dance practices and the dating game. My date said yes already so I can slack from now on haha. Bought the fujitsu laptop, I'm using it right now. Hope I recover soon if not rag is going to be tough. I'm too tired to link the sentences if you noticed. Miss my friends from out of hall. Too bad I couldn't see jamie on saturday. My neighbours are nice and sweet and caring. I'm going to sleep now.

The last week before I enter hall and most my time is spent in NUS anyway. Kr rag on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Watched "The Dark Night" with my 'rovers og' on Wednesday and stupid me I really regret not sleeping over at biz rag with my 'biz og'.
Today was damn fun I went rollerblading with part of my rovers og at ecp. JJ was damn pro he skated pro-ly despite holding onto a bag and his pro camera. It's damn shiok going on an outing with JJ because you don't have to be worried that there's no pictures and he even comes to our houses to pick us up. He really rocks. We took lots of ghey pictures like us imitating some pro blader.
Then potluck at Jj's house! The theme was geek but no one really dressed like one. Haha. Made all the guys gel their hair until they looked like idiots. They all tried to hide but to avail (sic) when jj's mother came home haha. Jeremy looked like he walked out from some old channel 8 drama like chu lu while andy and wei zhuan just looked damn weird. Jj looked like a principal. We were preparing a surprise for our facils so we holed ourselves up in jj's room and denied entry to all the seniors, claiming that we were changing into our outfits (with both girls and guys in there, how likely). Then later we took turns laosai-ing or doing god knows what in the toilets for damn long to write comments on their papers. I even called Jamie to help me in the toilet so we could both write together haha. And yet, none of the seniors suspected anything?! My god. Haha. Then when we were preparing the seniors present in the room we surprised jing long with a birthday cake. So many surprises in one day. The potluck was awesome there was so much food and since our og's favourite thing to do is eat, we practically spent the whole time eating. We hardly managed to play any of the many games we brought from home. Jaslyn came up with the lousy idea of hiding all the food while peiyu went to take a bath so we could claim that we had finished all the food while she was bathing. She just immediately went to the kitchen after we said that to check haha. And stupid jamie forgot to bring the cable for her ddr so she, me and jing long just played without the mat while Andy played using the controller so we wouldn't fail the level. Much to our horror, he still failed despite using the controller. Then we played taboo where we had to restrain jing long because he kept playing it like charades. He also likes to blurt out the answers for the other team?! Haha.
Most of the og stayed over but sadly, I couldn't because I have to pack for moving into hall. I'm seriously quite dreading moving in. I'm going to miss my house and all. There's no tv, fridge, uncrowded toilet, ironing board etc in kr. And WHICH LAPTOP SHOULD I BUY. It's such a huge decision. Sigh.

I forgot some stuff about the camp that I must say, like the game where we had to dress up someone as a tranny. Caho chee bai was really damn funny as a tranny. He even had nipples, which were nuts picked up from the beach. Jamie and I used tissue paper to make gladiator shoes for him. And for some reason, our OG is ALWAYS hungry. We will finish all the food given to us and hunger for more. Like straight after breakfast, lunch and dinner, I'm hungry. Haha. Our favourite item is the biscuit tin. We either have it with us or we fill an entire bread bag with biscuits. I really don't see why la. We don't even really do strenous stuff in the camp. It carried on after camp because I feel hungry all the time and my mother was shocked by how much I ate for dinner. Hopefully I'll gain weight. Oh and my sp this time was an OGL. I was damn suspicious the whole time. The first thing i said to him was: are you an ogl? Haha. I lied to him damn badly. First I said I was from Jurong Jc and that my sec school was dunman sec, which are at opposite ends of singapore. And when he asked me where dunman sec was I said i had no idea because my father fetched me there. I also lied that I was from choir and I couldn't make the SYF team. When he asked me my position in choir I hesitated damn long before saying "tenor", which is a position girls rarely assume. Just before revelation I became damn paranoid because someone passing by said, "can't you recognise his voice?" And I immediately asked him non-stop whether he's from my OG. He knows who I am since the first time since some stupid guy went to read out all the big bold words on my t-shirt during sp night. I was feeling quite bad about lying but I didn't need to cause he was an OGL haha. Then we went for night trek and it was quite scary because I thought it was fright night and they were just pretending that it wasn't.

First day of camp (I wasn't around)
Back from camp. Yet again. Rovers camp was really DAMN FUN. Missed the first day cause of rag dance but managed to join them for night cycling, which turned out to be just cycling for supper. So when the rest of them went to sleep, Jamie and I and *cao ni ma de b* continued cycling. And I can't believe ECP doesn't have bathing facilities! Jamie and I had a traumatising bathing time.

Second day
Then second day we went kayaking at Pulau Ubin. Kayaked with Ian there but we were like always at the back. Then on the way back I switched partners and partnered with Jamie and we kayaked so jiliely that we were always in the front if not first. We wanted to show them that two girls would not lose to all the girl guy partners (which is everyone else). We shrieked like mad the whole trip because we didn't have enough strength to change direction (we also didn't know the proper way) and we kept drifting to the left. Other groups were staring at us because we were making so much noise. We even overtook the instructor at times (which we're not supposed to do but we couldn't help it). Then they made us stop and let all the slow people have soooo much of a headstart and we were like WTF we're fast because we used all our energy. Anyway we managed to catch up at the end and were racing against this couple whom I asked them to please let us win. Haha. They won anyway so we were second. Then we played beach games which included jumping over the "valley of death" which is just this pathetic tiny line of depression in the sand which they formed by pushing the sand aside. We laughed like mad after hearing the stupid name. We won every single game and won a clue for cluedo. After dinner we played the card game in which everyone gets a card with the numbers 1-? (depending on how many people are playing) except one person who gets the King card. That person gets to instruct two people holding the numbers he/she calls to do a forfeit together. Some forfeits were sooo gross like licking a line across someone's neck, smelling each others' feet and plucking another's nose hair. Anyway my fengshui was so good I only kena easy forfeits like lying there while someone acts like im dying from a car accident. The best forfeit ever is *cao cheebai's* and *eat shit'* war games forfeit in which they chased each other and rolled over on the floor. Omo it was hilarious.

Third day
The next morning we played this SUPER FUNNY game. Ok if you've been wondering why I call my group members by vulgarities this is why. We played the game whereby each person opens a card and if you open a card with the same number as someone else you have to try to shout the other person's codename before he shouts yours. Our theme was vulgarities so everyone's codename was a vulgarity. Haha apparently mine was the most vulgar. Ok there was ta ma deh, eat shit, go and die, fuck you, fucking asshole, diu lei, ka ni na bu, chao chee bai, cao ni ma de b and however you spell it: en cle vu (french for fuck). Other groups were looking on in horror as we shouted vulgarities. For the rest of the camp we called each other by our vulgarities and the funny thing is we will respond to our vulgarities. Then we went trekking after that and although we were in the last batch to set off we ended up first because we completed every task expertly. En Cle Vu was a good navigator as well. Throughout the trek the seniors entertained us with lame riddles and jokes. It's amazing how many they have stored up haha.
Then we practised our skit and had outdoor cooking before campfire. The campfire was really the highlight it was soooo fun. The skits were all funny. Ours had like a billion screw-ups but the RA scene between chao chee bai and fucking asshole was damn funny. Ok for why the campfire is so fun I must explain how fun my OG is. It's like, everyone is so siao and funny, even the freshies. Our cheers are far from the conventional ones. Our favourite cheer is the one whereby our OGL will blow a whistle while we all dance like mad. Everytime we cheer we're in our own world we completely forget where we are. During our group cheer the MC interrupted while we were dancing to say that we're in our own world. Then at the end where everyone joined hands in a huge circle around the fire to sing songs, our OG would break apart from the group to do stupid things like singing the song in different styles. We kept breaking apart until all the other OGs separated into their own groups. Then we started singing Umbrella until the MC had to come to break us up in which chao chee bai took an umbrella and held it over the MC's head while we all shouted "ELLA ELLA ELLA". I don't think the other groups enjoyed the campfire as much as us haha. Then later we tried to stay up all night and some of the other groups went to sleep or played the usual games. But our OG went to a clearing and played music and danced like siao with light sticks. We even had solo dances each. Then we played charades.

Fourth day (collages all stolen from jamie's blog)
The next morning other OGs played boring games again while we played charades with the mat dropping every ten seconds so it gets harder and harder to see the person acting out the word. Then prize presentation. We won best facilitators and best OG. The seniors from our group were saying that since we won best facils that they thought we wouldn't win best OG already so they were all like going off to do something else and got a shock when we won it. Contrast this with Jamie and I. Because we had sugar cane plastic packets in our hands when they were announcing best OG, we were like "oh no where do we hang it". Haha we were already so sure that we won. Jamie says other OGs were saying our OG name when they were announcing. Then we danced jiliely as usual in the centre of the circle. After playing the wooh game we played pepsi cola. Our group is really weird we don't play conventional games haha. Then went back to wash tents since we agreed the night before that we would do so if we won best OG. There wasn't much to do there so our OG went to play basketball and later volleyball (how do they have so much energy!) while I went home.
Slept for damn long and woke up for rag dance the next day. Then Bryan was having a supper celebration for his birthday so I had time from 2.30-9 to kill. Guess what. I shopped throughout and even didn't have enough time to shop. I even bought a pillow and bolster from vivo and I took the MRT with it to City Hall. I really looked damn ghey carrying it around. Bryan and his family got a shock when they saw me. Ate yummy cheesecake and then left when they went for supper and a sleepover.
I'm moving in on the 27th. That's in seven days time. Actually there's like no difference since I'm already in NUS everyday. Kind of sad actually. I have to miss Rambo's OG outing on Monday because of rag dance. Sigh. Really want to meet up with them because I don't think there'll be another chance.
Happy birthday Bryan and Luther!

At this moment Jamie is at camp where I should be while I'm stuck in the office. I was so worried today about carrying my huge bag and sleeping bag on the crowded 855 in the morning. It's always bloody crowded every day and I only get to sit more than three quarters into the journey (office is near vivo wth). But today it was so empty and I even got a seat so I could sleep. Lucky! And I finally got my i pod last night. Stupid computer was giving so many problems though, I had to keep plugging out my i pod even though I'm supposed to charge it for eight hours straight. Instead I immediately updated it with all the songs because I'm beyond desperate. Haha. This is my second replacement i pod already. I treat each replacement i pod worse because I have the mindset that its three months/six months newer than it should be. Anyway I have the feeling that as long as I go to the i pod centre, they'll just replace my i pod because they don't sell my version anymore.
I'm seriously exhausted and lacking sleep. Went for two dance lessons yesterday and was shocked to see Bryan as the instructor for j/k pop as well. That makes three lessons of his I went for in three days. So sad he didn't use k pop. There's actually not much difference in speed for his beg and adv beg lessons, just the steps are a bit easier. But that's not good because the thing that limits me is the speed of learning. His choreography is awesome though.
Ugh later cabbing to East Coast Park after rag dance at NUS. It's going to cost me a fortune. I think when I reach there I'll just collapse next to my bicycle and they'll have to transport me with the lorry for bags. If my Secret Pal is Ian I'll laugh myself to death haha. Oh well an OGL will be taking over me for the first day so I'll just pretend to be a Korean on the second day.

This week has been really tiring. Monday biz rag* at NUS, Tuesday KR dance rag, Wednesday biz rag, thursday KR dance rag, saturday KR dance rag, dance lesson. I wonder if I'm being stupid by being so immersed in uni before it starts. Afterall I'll get to totally immerse myself for the next three years. I can't believe uni is starting so soon. It may seem like a month away for most people but I have hall orientation camp for two weeks so I'll be moving into NUS on the 27th. I'm both anticipating and dreading hall life. Sigh. At least Jamie is nearby. Haha.
Today's dance lesson was stressful as usual. Bryan's Adv Beg classes go so fast I can't keep up and everyone else is so good. I have to chiong four lessons in three days so I have another dance lesson tomorrow and two on monday. At least I'll see Crystal at studio wu. Oh did I mention I'm going to another camp? Haha. On tuesday after work (my last day) I'll go to NUS for KR rag dance and then cab to east coast park to make it in time to join my rovers og for night cycling. I feel so tired just thinking about it. I'm actually kind of relieved I'm missing the first day of camp. At least I won't be so tired. Not that I'm not anyway. In both the other camps Jamie's og was always my og's ally/neighbours. In this camp we are actually in the same og! WTH right. And somemore I handled all the registration for the camp for her and she paid for me using her bank account so they can't possibly think we're not friends so why would they want to put us in the same group. Siao.
Today I found out at the optician (who was a rude asshole) that I'm not suitable for wearing contact lenses. It's like a huge blow to me. I always thought I had the option to wear lenses and hence be able to put eye make up and all that. Now the only lenses I can wear are dailies and they blur my vision as well as being bloody uncomfortable so I can only wear them when it's absolutely necessary like during performances.
There are so many things I have to do and settle and I don't have the time.
*rag is a nus tradition in which halls/faculties construct a 'float' based on a theme out of recyclable materials and presenters dance on the stage with the float displayed behind.

Been really busy this week. Shall not elaborate much on business camp since it's largely similar to sheares+kr combined. Played the tail game again in which we're supposed to collect puzzle pieces and snatch other peoples tails. But the main thing is to collect puzzle pieces so I was the only idiot attacking others and snatching their tails haha. I mean, what's so fun about collecting puzzle pieces! Each group had a tail of their own colour and ours was white so Jonathan came up with the genius idea of putting toilet paper. We had more lives than a cat. On the last day of the camp we got our prize together with a bonus prize of a roll of toilet paper. Secret Pal revelation was gross my SP had to lie down with M&Ms and whipped cream on his nipples to let another guy get the M&Ms before he could guess which girl was his SP. Then retro night at Timbre. The food was great I ate two plates by myself. For some reason I ate like a pig (jie liang) in biz camp. Anyway I'm super gullible I believed everything my SP lied to me about for fun. My next SP is going to get it haha. My OG is really super slack this time. Commonly heard phrases are "hurry guys you're late" or "you guys are the last". Haha. We were so slow for the Amazing Race that we skipped a few stations I think. After experiencing the other two camps this camp is really relaxing. Except the part where they woke us up at 3 am for a jog haha. I knew they were plotting something sinister.
Business OGs are really damn on. We met the next day for dinner. All the guys except Michael were damn late. Then half of them went clubbing and the rest of us went to starbucks to chill. Their chocolate drink is really lacking chocolate so I dumped more than half of the bottle of chocolate in (= milo dinosaur). It really became damn chocolatey haha.
Then met my Sheares OG the next day for dinner and a movie after dance lesson in which I think i kind of sprained my thigh. They bought one less ticket so they were like oh everyone just lift up the arm-rests and squeeze. In the end for some reason only Meiling, Siew Feng and I squeezed into two seats. Really damn uncomfortable. I realised I've never watched a movie as plot-less as zouhan before.
GOOD LUCK TIM! BE SAFE AND HEALTHY AND STUDY HARD!
